Paddy enters his first test
we are unbelievably proud of our Fox Red Labrador Vomdarka Paddy. Vomdarka Paddy entered his first test in the under 18months category and came out third place. What an incredible achievement for Vomdarka Paddy.
What is a Puppy Test?
A working puppy Test is where gun Dog handlers from clubs all over the country can come together and compete out on the field. There are multiple judges on the day who individually score your dog. Each Puppy Test you go to will be different and on different terrain.
How many Dogs in class
Vomdarka Paddy competed against 16 other labradors. It is always nice to see Labrador retrievers out in the field together. On the day there were a mix of Fox Red Labradors , black Labradors, yellow (blonde) Labradors and a mix of Female Labradors and male Labradors.

Vomarka Paddy came third in his working puppy test , this was the first puppy test Vomdarka Paddy has entered so we are incredibly proud of him. Vomdarka Paddy was stunning to watch and praised by the judges for his elegant delivery.
Vomdarka Paddy will continue to enter working gun dog tests over the season and hopefully keep learning and improving along the way.
This was also Martyns first ever working test so a big well done to Martyn also. Most other gun dog handlers had been training and competing ladradors for years and years , mostly over 15 years so a credit to Martyn for his first Test and amazing result.
Vomdarka Paddy entered at 13 months old making him the youngest Labrador in the test that day.
Vomdarka Paddy is our fox Red Labrador who is fully health tested. Vomdarka Paddy has a up to date BVA Eye Certification, DNA clear, BVA hip and elbow scored. All paddy’s health results can be seen online and in our other post linked below

Vomdarka Paddy is an incredible Fox Red Labrador and a credit to the breed, Vomdarka Paddy is now 15 months old and soon will be available at stud.
